Recently I have been using my mobile studio more and more during the writing phase of producing tracks. The reason is simple. I can create anywhere. In my house. On The Road. Getting some Starbucks. It is great to start the creative process wherever I feel. I still finish the tracks in my regular studio space but since I have all the same software on my MacBook Pro that I have on my studio Mac, it is easy to transfer files.

Man, I love a good day party. And on Sunday, August 31st, there was a good one over in the San Fernando Valley. Shine On was located at the Warner Center Park over in Woodland Hills and was put on by Addicted Events and Funk Potion. My set was from 4-5 and I barely made it in time. I wanted to get their earlier but my boy Matt was running late and I wanted to wait for him. I decided to take my puppy Herbie out with me to enjoy his first park party. He was instantly loved on by all the ravers there.

Last weekend on August 16th I was lucky enough to play at both JuJuBeats and Kosmic Festival. I have been excited about this weekend for a while as both parties had great line-ups and good promotion. JuJuBeats was at Oak Canyon Ranch in Orange County. This spot has been used very few times in the past and is a beautiful outdoor location. I got there around 6:00 PM for my 6:15 slot. I spun in the second area and was greeted by a nice crowd. Although it was still early, there seemed to be the most people in the area I was in. I got on and played for a hour.

This past weekend I was booked to DJ and dress up at Christmas in July.  I have dressed up as Santa before for a party, but that was in Winter and I wasn't sure how hot this event was going to be inside. So on Saturday night, I put on my rented costume, picked up my friend Tony, and was off to The Hudson to spread some Holiday cheer in the middle of summer. I walk in and make my way to the House Area which was playing Hard Style at the time. Not able to mix into it I started fresh and played some tech and electro house.

Wow. What a weekend! On Thursday the 3rd I spun over at Fireworks 2. The party was in a warehouse in Downtown LA. Beforew we left to go there, Merlyn Martin came over and we finished out a track that he and I started on. Got it done and then went over to the venue. The warehouse was dope. Great sound. Good vibes. When I got there Jason Splat was on and putting it down to the crowd. I then went on after from like 10:30 to 11:30. and had a great time spinning there. The vibe was just off the hook. After my set, went home and relaxed.
