Tucson Tech House - Live at Housewerks (11/17/2018)

I really do love Tucson. There is something magical about that area. When the opportunity came about for a bunch of fellow DJ friends from LA would caravan to Tucson, rent a house and celebrate my birthday weekend, well it was a no brainer. My birthday is on 11/16 so we we took the drive out there on my b-day. It was me, my wife, Bernard Thomas and his girl Kathleen. We rented a car and headed out. We got in after dark and headed to the rental house. It was beautiful. Right outside of Tucson. There were 4 couples staying there. Kind of at The Big Chill vibe going on.

The next day we went into town and went to my buddy Ronnie’s spot called “Batch” which is a Donut Shop and Whiskey Bar in the same establishment. It is awesome. Got to see him and his lovely wife and they just hung around the downtown area for a few hours. Afterwards we headed back home. Since I was closing the party I decided to disco nap while everyone was at the party. I got picked up around 3:30am and headed to the Galactic Center. What a great venue. The event was going down with plenty of people still feeling it. I did my think until the wee hours and below is that set. Dougal was on before me and he was playing some great stuff so I kinda went with his vibe during the beginning of my set. Afterwards I ended up at the Waffle House well because the “Waffle House”

The next evening after everyone recovered we had a pretty epic house party in the rental I ended up DJing some 80’s music and just hung out with friends. On Monday we headed out but I had to stop in Phoenix on the way back so I could interview for a job in Hawaii….more on that in the next blog post.
