New Site, New Branding, New Ideas
So welcome to the new and improved DJThee-O.com website. Glad you found us.
So I have been thinking of re-branding Thee-O for a while. The last time I did was back around 2008 and that site and logo to me now looked dated and didn't really represent what I am about currently.
I DJ clubs, I DJ raves, I DJ outdoor shows and all kids of other shows mixed in, so to me I wanted something that represented my and my brand in a fun and happy way without taking itself too seriously.
I grew out the handlebar mustache last year on accident. I was actually growing out my beard and I quickly discovered that the stache could look pretty cool. Of course I was getting teased at being a hipster and what not. Whatever. I liked the mustache and I was going to keep it.
When thinking of a new logo I was talk to designer Robert at Nerdski.com about incorporating my stache and glasses into the new look and he took that simple idea and ran with it. In May of 2014 he sent me the logo and I quickly got to work. Stickers and Button Pins were ordered. T-Shirts were being printed up, the new website was starting to be designed. All of this came together rather quickly and it seems people like it which is cool.
So to everyone that ordered shirts, putting the pins on their lapels and placing those stickers on your car, I thank you. It is your support that allows me to still be able to do what I do with music. It really means a lot to me, I appreciate it more than you know. Enjoy the new site. I will be endlessly be trying to make it better and also think of new things to apply the branding (mustache wax anyone?) too.
