Ravers Ballroom has taken over The Hudson on Saturday Nights. It has been a while since Thee-O has spun at this spot but now it is back and in full force. New track signed to Looq Records

Looq Records has picked up another new track from Thee-O. This time the track is called "Get High" and is co-produced with fellow Viva La Tech member, Huggie. With remixes by Angel Alanis, Yellowcake and Jan Van Lier, this is going to be a very nice package. Look for this released in late summer 2010.

Although their set was cut rather short, we managed to get some good footage of Thee-O rocking out at Illuminate. The venue was set up rather nicely with LED curtains and lasers everywhere. Thee-O played a back to back set with Barry Weaver until the event was shut down a hour early. Despite the set back, it was a good time with a great crowd.

 

"Rain" release date confirmed on System Recordings

Thee-O & Huggie's latest track "Rain" is set to drop on August 5th as a Beatport exclusive and then released worldwide on August 17th. This tracks features the amazing vocals of Erin Powers which helps to create that old school vocal house that Thee-O and Huggie were going after. 3 mixes will be included on the System Recordings release. The original, a radio edit and a dub version.

Thee-O recently spun at Area 33 in Culver City for Electro Concerto. The vibe was amazing. It was great mixture of Burners, Ravers and Clubbers in the spot and it created the right atmosphere for grooving down all night. Thee-O & Merlyn Martin have signed their new track "I Mean Really" to A-Squared Muzik ran by prolific super producer and DJ, Angel Alanis. This deep tech track has a hypnotic groove with just the right touch of funk added. Remixes and edits by Angel and others to drop sometime this Summer. More details soon.

New Reef Project EP's coming to Looq Records

Thee-O's downtempo and ambient alias, Reef Project is currently working on a new album. In the meantime, Looq Records has decided to release 2 EP's of older Reef Project music that hasn't been released digitally. The first one "Shallow Water" is coming out on May 10th, 2010.  The second one "Deep Side" will be out later in summer.

New track picked up by Drops

Thee-O and fellow Viva La Tech DJ, DayV got into the studio recently and created banging peak time track called "Controlled Kaos". Drops from Miami recently picked it up for release on their label. The parts are now with remixers and a package will be ready soon. Release is scheduled for late spring or early summer. Stay tuned.

Spring time is upon us and the smell of house beats in the park on Sundays is in the air. Thee-O spun at Right On recently which was a 3 area outdoor park party at Woodley Park. There was a lot of people there enjoying themselves and chilling out. Some got down on the grass and keep the vibes going. Here is a short video from the event.
