The Boom Box Art Car - Live at Nocturnal Wonderland (09/15/2018)

I can’t believe I forgot to post this. This was so much fun. I was very honored to be asked to play at Nocturnal Wonderland and to be with some of my good friends hanging out at the Camp OG campsite was just the icing on the cake. I got into the camp a few hours before the doors opened on Saturday. I chilled out with the homies and shared a few brews before heading into the event. I was on second on the art car and Subcoder was dropping some great breaks before me.

I had no idea what I was going to play so my set is a bit all over the place. Some old school house, some bass house and some tech house all blended together. The vibes were great. It was great to see so many familiar faces mixed in with the younger generation. After my set, my wife and I wandered around the party checking things out. We ran into Pasquale and I had an opportunity to thank him for keeping this going and always taking care of the old school. He really does make sure we are taken care of. All in all, it was a great time at Nocturnal and I hope it wasn’t the last time. Hope you enjoy the set.

Hawaiian House Beats - Live at Beach Daze (Maui, HI) (09/30/2018)

Little did I know then that this trip would change my future just a few short months later but more on that in another blog post I am working on.

Tony and I were on vacation with our significant others in Maui and we were fortunate to hook up a few gigs while in town due to the amazing group of people known as the Maui House Collective. Tony and I played at the Dirty Monkey twice while were were there and then we also performed at a Sunday at the Beach party. IT was a beautiful afternoon and Tony and I both played 45 mins as the sun was setting. The set below captures both of our sets together. If you like some great Sunday feeling House beats then this mix is for you. Hope you enjoy.

The Stylus Reunion at re:love (09/23/2018)

Man, I got to update my site more often. I got 3 months of live mixes I gotta post and this is one of them. This was the first time I actually took out the DJS-1000 to a gig and tried to incorporate it into my DJing in a live setting. It was a lot of fun and being able to do it with my friends Rob Pointer and Luis Rosario as our former group Stylus was a lot of fun. For those that don’t know Stylus started at the end of 2012 as an idea that all 3 of us shared. We then started launching pool parties and events in 2013 and 2014 before calling it a day in 2015. We have mad love for each other though and we always support each other in our musical endeavors. We met up in September of 2018 and talked about doing some new things together and we were able to reach out to re:love to have us at their September 2018 park party at Hansen Dam. I started off the set with some live sampling and we all switched of DJing while I added more samples on top of other tracks. It was lot of fun. Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed performing it.

Beach Front Beats - Live at Tech Me To The Beach (08/12/2018)

What a beautiful day at the beach. Great vibes and a great view. I started my set with some deep melodic tracks. I was trying to play to the environment. It felt great to play some deep stuff that lead into a bit of disco and classic house. What a great way to end the weekend. I hope you enjoy the set and if you do please share it.

My last time at Revival - Live at Revival (08/07/2018)

I didn’t know this would be my last time playing at Revival. I have played quite a few times at this wonderful night over the past 4 years. I have played along side Frankie Bones, DJ Dan, Colette and Charles Feelgood just to name a few. It has been such a great night and little did I know that it would end 3 weeks after this set. I’m glad I got to end things on such a great high not at Revival. I started deep, played some latin house, some disco house and some classic house jams. Hope you enjoy and if you do please share.
