New Mix For Download - Live at Release (10/04/14)

I guess I am playing catch up on my website. I get so busy sometimes that I forget to update my own site with my new mixes and track. So prepare for some fast and furious blog posting.

This was a great night. The location was about 2 hours away from Downtown LA and I ended up getting to the event at around 3:30 am. When I got there, my good friend Tony Gamboa hadn't started his set yet so we both decided to do a impromptu back to back set. It was pretty fucking awesome. I haven't DJed with Tony like that in a while but it didn't feel like it. We would drop 3 songs and let the other on take over for 3. The small crowd of dancers kept us going for 3 hours. The sun rose and we would dance while the other was in control of the decks. It was a beautiful sunrise and a awesome way to spend a Sunday morning. Here is a portion of our set that morning. New Mix For Download - Live at FunDaze (09/21/14)

Another Sunday, another park party. This time located near Highland Park this secluded spot was the ideal place to play some house beats while the sun began to set. As I got there, Dirty Deeds was on and playing some ill DnB with more of a vocal feel. It was mainly a chilled out family affair and I was definitely feeling it. I started a bit deep, mixed in some Bass House and then ended things on a more Acid House tip. I hope you enjoy the set. Download and get down!

HYS on Drops - Out Now on Beatport!

My new track HYS is out today on Drops. I wrote this track around the beginning of summer and I am glad it go out there quickly. Some people may be asking what HYS stands for. Simply it means, Handle Your Shit! This is something of a inside joke with my friends and I and saying we use to encourage each other to use common sense when drinking and partying. Usually it is told in a sarcastic way after someone has not been able to handle their shit. LOL. The track is a tech house track with a lot of energy with a vocal by yours truly  that I distored and pitch shifted down to sound a bit more menacing. The remix by Anton Stellz takes it in a different direction and makes it a deeper techno cut. Either way I think you will dig it. Check out on Beatport now.

New Mix for Download - Live at Re:Love (07/27/14)

What a beautiful day in the park. This was my second Re:Love park party and what a party it was. The weather was beautiful and so was the view of DTLA from high in the hills of Elysian Park. Re:Love started at noon and went on till about 8:00PM. There was nothing but love in the air has people brought their kids, dogs and picnics to celebrate life while listening and dancing to House music. I went on at about 1:40, which was about 20 min late because I got lost on the way to party. When I got there, Christen and Matt were holding it down playing some slow chilled grooves. I tried to match that vibe by starting off my set at 116BPM and slowly pushing it up to 120 BPM during my set. Below is the Soundcloud of my chilled out Sunday grooves in the park. New Mix For Download - Live at Release (07/19/14)

So here is my live set from Release which happened this past weekend in a forest location near Lake Matthews/Corona. I had the closing Sunrise Set so I didn't get to the show until about 5:00 am. The timeslots were messed up and Mr. Kool-Aid was DJing when I got there. I made it on to the decks at around 5:30am and played until 6:30. I wanted to start off kind of deep with tracks I felt were appropriate for bringing on the sun. About halfway into my set I get a little bit funkier with some bass house. I hope you enjoy the set.
