King King. What a great venue. It was one of the only places in Hollywood that hasn't fallen in to the "Table Service" formula. It is a simple space. Big Dancefloor and a good bar. That is really all you need. I have had the pleasure to DJ at this spot many times over the years for Incognito, Compression, Basis and others to name a few. I also spent many a night at this spot as a patron going to see some amazing talent or seeing a burlesque show. The fact that this spot is closing at it's current location this month is quite saddening but things end and life goes on, but before it ends let's have a celebration. Oh and we will this Friday when Steve Loria, Tony Gamboa, Bret Wallace and myself grace this building and select tracks for the dancefloor one last time. I hope you can be there. It is 10 bucks all night. Come say goodbye with us.
