Welcome to the next step in my evolution! As most people know out of the ashes comes rebirth! The Legend of the Pheonix is a magical bird that had the gift of recycling his own life. When it perceives its impending death, the phoenix ignites itself into a magnificent fire and In time, it reemerges from its own ashes - reborn, renewed, and very much alive.
This has been my journey! I am now ready to re-emerg form my ashes to be reborn into something greater! I am moving into creating events that are truly about the community, and therefore all of you!
In a culture of rugged individualism - in which we generally feel that we dare not be honest about ourselves- we bandy around the word "community." We apply it to almost any collection of individuals - a town, a church, a synagogue, a fraternal organization, an apartment complex, a professional association - regardless of how poorly those individuals communicate with each other.
That isn't what "community" means to us. If we are building a community together, we must become a group of individuals who have learned how to communicate honestly with each other, whose relationships go deeper than their masks of composure.
