TREAVOR MOONTRIBE (Moontribe Collective) RYAN MICHAEL ROBBINS (Fierce Animal Recordings) THEE-O (Viva LAtech / Centered) JODHI (Centered)
Treavor Moontribe bio: Founder of the Los Angeles based “Moontribe Collective” and its legendary full moon desert gatherings. Since 1993, these events have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene. Treavor established himself as one of the top Djs in LA thru these events and has since traveled the world from Brazil to Japan to Morocco, Portugal, Germany and all over North America. As a Dj it’s always been his diversity that’s set him apart from his peers. His love for music spans multiple genres and his DJing reflects this as he is just as known for Techno/Progressive as he is Psy Trance and various other forms of electronic music. In 2009 Treavor became the first American label DJ for Denmark based Iboga Records and released a compilation for them called Set9: Desert Selections. The compilation was an instant hit topping the psy trance chart on Beatport and the CD chart at PsyShop.com. In December 2011 Treavor joined the Neurobiotic Records family with his debut compilation called “Neuro:Minded” feat. Psy Trance songs from legendary artists like Dickster, Logica, The Commercial Hippies, Flip Flop, Polaris, and more. It was an instant success reaching #3 on the top Psy Trance songs chart at Beatport.com and #2 in the top releases chart. Over the years Treavor has also established himself as a dynamic music producer having released music under several project names. His most notable project by far is Desert Dwellers which is the convergence of music producers Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, who honed their individual crafts in the mystical deserts of California and New Mexico, long before electronic music reached mainstream. Desert Dwellers’ studio output is matched only by their extensive touring history, which juxtaposes performances at America’s most iconic festivals like Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man, and Coachella, with high-powered sets at the biggest trance festivals around the world; BOOM in Portugal and Rainbow Serpent in Australia. Desert Dwellers are equally at home in the clubs as they are in the yoga studios, and the jungles, deserts, and mountains of far-flung international festivals.
