This was a great time. First of all it was 5 min from my house. Always nice to have a good time so close to home. Secondly it was at Havana House which is a cigar lounge and everyone knows I like to have a cigar now and then so being able to relax, have a drink and cigar and play some tunes is always ideal. The crowd was a lot of fun and I was able to play some things I normally don't play. During the middle of my set I ended up dropping the old school flavor. If you are a certain age you will dig this. Hope you enjoy.

I don't get to DJ very often back to back with cohort Jason Blakemore, so it is always a honor to do so. He and I started off in the LA underground around the same time in the early 1990's and we have played at so many parties over the years together that seeing each other was very commonplace.
One thing that wasn't commonplace was us DJing together. This is only the 3rd time it has happened in the 22 years we have both been DJing in the scene.
Frooty Loops was a fun show. Driving out to San Bernardino reminded me of all the times I used to DJ out at the Masterdome and The Hudson. I got there before Jason so I started off the set. He started around the 30min mark of this mix. We then went back and forth every 3 songs or so. It was a pleasure to DJ with man, JB! I hope to do it again soon. Hope you enjoy the set.
